Question: Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, our business is licensed by the Henry County Health Dept. and we are fully insured

Question: Is the food prepared at the event’s location?
No, it will be prepared in our licensed kitchen and transported in insulated containers to the venue you have chosen.

Question: Can I change my menu selections and/ or final count?
Yes, you can change your menu selections and final count prior to 10 days before your event.

Question: Do you provide table servers if necessary?
Yes, we provide staff to serve the meal.

Question: Do you cut wedding cakes?
Yes, we cut your wedding cake for you. There is a $75 fee for that service, however, this does not include serving the cake to your guests.

Question: Is a deposit required to hold the event date and when is it required?
We require a 40% deposit and signed contract to hold your date. This is based on a tentative meal count which is determined when the contract is sent. The remaining balance is based on a final confirmed meal count and is due the day of the event.

Question: Will you tentatively hold a date?
Your date is held upon inquiry; however, we are able to cater several events in a single day.

Question: When do you arrive at the event location?
Depending on the extent of service, usually we are on location within 2 hours of service time.

Question: Can you provide linens, china and table service?
Yes, all our buffets include high quality disposable table service. If you choose, for an additional rental fees, we can enhance your event with linen tablecloths, skirting, napkins and our own full china service.

Question: What do you do with the left over food?
We will box and refrigerate the left over food. We work with several local charities that accept our leftovers should there be more than you can adequately handle.

Question: How far will you travel for events?
Keeping food safety in mind, we normally don’t travel over 50 miles from Holgate, OH.  There may be a travel/service fee incurred for areas outside of our area.  Please ask for details. 

Question: Are there any other additional charges that we may incur?
Late Service Charge- For every 30 minutes past the confirmed service time, a $50 fee will be charged.
Hall Cleanup Fee- Table clearing of the entire hall is $150.
Full Sit Down Dinner Service is available for $3 per person.
Salad Only Served is $1.50 per person.
Dessert Only (including wedding cake) Served is $1.50 per person.
Rolled Silverware Fee- Available for $0.75 per person.

Question: Do I need to make an appointment to finalize my event plans?
No, we can normally do this over the phone.

Question: Can we pick up our linens early?
Yes, we usually have the linens early in the week, just call to set up a time to meet. The linens need to be returned to us the day after the event.

Question: Will head tables be served?
Yes, we will serve the head table for no additional charge.

Question: Are you affiliated with the Bavarian Haus in Deshler, Ohio?
No, we are a completely different business. We do however, cater events there frequently.
